If you've entered in some stocks on the Stock Portfolio page, the current balance will now appear with your other accounts on the My Accounts page and added to your net worth.
We've updated the customization tab page to now support dragging and dropping your links to rearrange them instead of having to select a number. In addition you can also now rename the links. We've also added a new feature that will let you add folders to your left navigation to make it easier to group the applications you care about and keep things more organized.
You can now enter in split transactions on Android devices by clicking on the split link next to the amount. iPhone and iPad split transactions are coming soon.
You now have the ability to set a custom date range for viewing your Bills up to one year maximum. To implement, select the date range on the My Bills page and choose "Custom".
You now have the ability to share a money account from the My Accounts page with other BudgetTracker users either as read-only or as a contributor. Contributors will also be able to add transactions to your account but cannot edit or delete transactions. To implement, click the Account Sharing link at the top of the My Accounts page.
When changing a category on the My Transactions page by clicking on the category name instead of the edit link, we will now change the category to the one you've chosen for all transactions that have the same payee name and have an empty category.
We've added a new Setting to the Settings page to allow you to change the amount fields in My Accounts and My Transactions to red if the amount is negative. Currently, only the totals get converted to red if negative.
We've added an update to the My Transactions page so you can now view all transactions within a single box instead of separated by account. To implement, go to My Transactions and choose "All Accounts Combined" from the search dropdown.
We've added a new update that will detect if you are viewing a budget where some of the transactions within that budget date range have been allocated to a future or past months budget. This will occur either if you are creating a new transaction and select "add to" -> "Future/Past Budget" or if you are making a payment on a bill or income item in a future month. The transaction date would be marked as today but it will come out of a future months budget depending on the date of the bill. To view, you will now see some text at the top of the My Budget page if we detect you have budgeted items in the future along with a link to the Future/Past Budgeted page.
We've updated the site when editing a transaction to now show you default categories to choose from to make it easier to change or add a category to your transaction and budget.
We are also now showing the existing non-budgeted categories on the My Budget page with the option to add them to your budget. This was an option we removed last year but found that users were confused about adding existing non-budgeted categories to your budget so this should help simplify the process. If you would rather not see your existing non-budgeted categories on the My Budget page, you can choose to hide them by clicking the checkbox and clicking the button Hide Categories at the bottom.
