We've added a new page to the site called Budget Report. This will give you a breakdown by month of how much you've budgeted for, how much you've spent/saved, and how much is available. You can select up to 12 months of data to display in a spreadsheet styled format. To access, go to My Budget and click on Budget Report at the top of the page.
When you hover your mouse over an account on the My Accounts page, you now have the option to create a new transaction or transfer funds from the account you are hovering over. This will make it easier to record your expenses.
We've added a reference to gravatar.com images on the Message Boards. Gravatar is a globally recognized avatar based on your email which can be reused throughout different websites. If no image has been registered, it will default as a silhouette. Visit gravatar.com for more information.
We've introduced a new feature called Achievements. As you use the website and complete different tasks throughout the site such as entering a transaction more than 10 days in a row, you will earn an achievement medal. The medal will appear next to your name when posting a message on the Message Boards as well as within the social bio.
We've released a fix to My Income where when creating a new split income item and adding a new row, the tax checkbox was not getting recognized. This should now be fixed.
In an effort to simplify the BudgetTracker site, we've added a new option under settings that will allow you to set if you want the site to be detailed or simple. Additionally, you can specify if you will be using the Business Applications or if you would like to remove the Business Tab. To access, click "Settings" from the upper right corner.
We've updated how we handle adding a recorded bill payment or income payment when being added to your budget. If you make a payment in a future month, we'll set the budget month for that transaction to be the month your are paying the bill or income item in instead of applying the budget to your transaction date. This will only apply to new transactions. For existing transactions, you can update the budget month by editing the transaction, selecting "add to" and choosing "Future Budget".
We've made some updates to Android devices to now allow users to update your budget categories, bills, and accounts. You'll now see an arrow to right of your list to take you to the update page. We've also fixed a bug when creating new tasks to stay within the Android app.
We've implemented BBCode into My Articles and descriptions within AddOns Applications to allow users to customize the format of your text such as adding bold tag, font sizes, lists, and links.
We've implemented a way to write and store articles for yourself similar to a blog or personal journal. To view, click on the Organization and tab or add My Articles to your Custom tab.
