We've released a fix to My Income where when creating a new split income item and adding a new row, the tax checkbox was not getting recognized. This should now be fixed.
In an effort to simplify the BudgetTracker site, we've added a new option under settings that will allow you to set if you want the site to be detailed or simple. Additionally, you can specify if you will be using the Business Applications or if you would like to remove the Business Tab. To access, click "Settings" from the upper right corner.
We've updated how we handle adding a recorded bill payment or income payment when being added to your budget. If you make a payment in a future month, we'll set the budget month for that transaction to be the month your are paying the bill or income item in instead of applying the budget to your transaction date. This will only apply to new transactions. For existing transactions, you can update the budget month by editing the transaction, selecting "add to" and choosing "Future Budget".
We've made some updates to Android devices to now allow users to update your budget categories, bills, and accounts. You'll now see an arrow to right of your list to take you to the update page. We've also fixed a bug when creating new tasks to stay within the Android app.
We've implemented BBCode into My Articles and descriptions within AddOns Applications to allow users to customize the format of your text such as adding bold tag, font sizes, lists, and links.
We've implemented a way to write and store articles for yourself similar to a blog or personal journal. To view, click on the Organization and tab or add My Articles to your Custom tab.
You now have the ability to upload your own photo and have it displayed as the background for all of your pages within a tab. To integrate, click the Customize link on the left navigation and look for Background Body.
We are introducing two new programs to the BudgetTracker site; Education and Company Co-branding. Both programs come with the ability to have their own logo, design, links, as well as an exclusive social network, forum, and a school or company calendar. In addition, each program comes with a built in user management system to make updates to the site. The company allows you to create managers and employees into the program. The school program allows you to create teachers and students. We are currently working on expanding the education program to help bring personal finance into the classroom. Schools can register by clicking on the Education link at the bottom of the BudgetTracker home page. We've made some updates to allow users to now select the type of font and size of font when customizing your tabs. To access, click the down arrow to the right of the upper tabs or click the "Customize Tab Theme" link in the upper right corner for all tab except the Finance Tab.
