We've added some help popups when hovering your mouse over a field when entering new data. This will help explain what each field does and how it relates to the rest of the site. For our first release, this is only included on the main pages Income, Bills, Budget, New Transaction, and Accounts. To turn this feature off, click Settings from the upper right corner of the page.
We've updated the My Transaction page to now make it easier and quicker to rename a Payee. When you hover your mouse over the transaction row, you will see two links appear "edit" and "rename" now to speed up the updating process.
The iPhone application has gone live now. For the first version, you'll notice it's mostly the web based mobile version with easier access through your iPhone. For our second version, we'll be including applications that are native to the phone so you can use it and enter data without an internet connection.
We've added a new Taxes page that will make it easier to view reports and download data to present to your accountant at tax time. If you have ideas for more features you would like to see on the tax page, please let us know.
We've added a new feature to the My Bills page that will now check if you have any transactions that may match an existing bill. If so, you will see a new link next to record titled "Possible Match". Once clicked, that transaction will mark the bill as paid. Hovering over the link will give you details on the transaction such as the payee name, date, and amount.
On the right side of each page in default design, you'll now see a push pin. Additionally on each page you'll now see a gray star at the top. Clicking on the star will now save it to your pin so that when you open the pin, any page you have clicked the star on will appear in your Pin Favorites for quick access to all your favorite applications from any page. We'll also be adding other features to this pin section so if you have ideas for what you'd like to see, please post or email us.
We've created a new setup wizard page that will first walk you through quickly creating your Accounts, Bills, and Income. You are then taken to a page where you can quickly assign budget categories. And the final page will allow you to tie your Budget Categories and Accounts to the Income and Bills you've just created. This is mainly geared towards new users to quickly setup some data and then modify it as needed but we are also making it available for existing users as well. To access, click Setup Wizard from the left navigation under the Finance Tab.
We've added a sub-total amount to the bottom of each accounts list of Transactions. This allows you to see how much your transactions total to based on your filter criteria. Note that if you have pagination, it will only sub-total your viewed transactions and not transactions that are on separate pages.
We've updated the Date Picker on some of the existing applications to a new style. Please let us know if you find any issue with your browser choosing a date. You will now see the date popup when click on the date textbox.
