We've added the ability to add tags to your transactions from the Transaction Toolbar and then view those tags on the My Transactions page. To access, click Settings from the upper right corner and select show next to Transaction Tags.
When clicking on the left over amount on the My Budget page, you now have the ability to carry over the remaining budget amount to the following month by checking the Carry Over checkbox.
We've added the ability to upload and manage documents and images by integrating Amazon's S3 service. When subscribed, you attach your uploaded receipts to your transactions so you can easily keep a record of items you've paid for. Additionally, to organize your files, we've integrated your files with the My Bookmarks page to allow you to create categories and store them along side your Bookmarks. When a file has been saved, the icon next to the link with represent the type of file. The fee for this service is $2.00 per month and can be accessed by going to My Bookmarks/Files.
On the My Bills page, we've added a calculator icon to any Bill that transfers to a credit card or loan. When clicked, you'll see a breakdown of how long it will take to pay it down with the interest calculated from the account.
We've updated the look and feel for the Simple Theme to try and make it more user friendly. We'll be working on creating more themes to choose from in the month of August.
We've update the left Navigation menu to now allow you to switch to a simpler navigation menu. This will cover all the basic applications on the site needed. In addition, we've updated the Bills, Transactions, Budget, and Income pages to now show drop-down menus instead of sub-tabs to avoid too much clutter on the page.
You now have the ability to customize the modules that are displayed in the side bars along with the order in which you'd like to view them. To access, click the "Side Bars" link in the upper right corner of the page.
We've added 2 radio buttons at the top of each page to allow you to switch between advanced and simple modes of BudgetTracker. The simple version includes only the main applications need to run the site with larger fonts and a more plain look and feel. If you are having difficulties understanding the flow of BudgetTracker, try the simple mode.
We've added a new page titled "Theme Designer" to the site. This will allow you to customize the look and feel of the BudgetTracker site. Once we have a few designs created by users, we'll start allowing them to be shared by other users. To access, click "Themes" from the top right corner or click "Theme Designer" from the Navigation menu under Information.
