Re:Tweaking Existing Custom Applications
This is now completed. The Birthday Reminders application has been converted to an Events application instead where you can categorize your entries by Event (Birthday,Anniversary, etc.). At the top of the page now is a link to the Events Forecast where you can add or update existing events. These will be tied in with the event drop-down when creating or updating a reminder on the My Calendar page.

Re:Tweaking Existing Custom Applications
This is a great idea. We've updated the existing Birthday Reminders list to now allow a recurrence so you can make the birthdays yearly and see which birthdays are coming up for the month chosen. We'll give some thought how to tie in the Reminder Type to the forecast applications we can create.

Re:Tweaking Existing Custom Applications
Of course, there is something to be said for using existing features as much as possible, rather than custom apps that duplicate existing features. My Calendar could serve this same function -- IF My Calendar had an event list/ forecast/ table view that could be sorted by event type. That is, it would be nice if, in My Calendar, you could switch to a view that would allow you to set a forecast time period (say, next month), that would give you a table with all of the calendar reminders for that period, that could then be sorted by event type. Then you would have a printable list of anniversaries, bills, birthdays, meetings, tasks, etc.

Tweaking Existing Custom Applications
Can we suggest changes to existing custom applications? For example: Birthday Reminders is a great idea -- I'd love to use it for anniversaries, too. And it would be really great if it allowed you to put the actual start date (August 17, 1972, for example), and include Forecasting, so that you can look at a list and see who you need to buy cards for in the upcoming month.
