Yes, this was actually implemented about a month ago so that when you select Carry Over, it will continue to carry over the remaining balance into following months.

Re:Sinking funds
curious what kind of resolution there is to this...? we use the same type of system as the op and would like any leftover amounts to roll to the next month. mvelopes.com has a nice virtual envelope system, but that's about it =)

Re:Sinking funds
Thank you for the feedback. What we can do is add another option when creating a new transaction under "Add To..." titled "Future Budget" to allow you to specify which month you'd like your transaction applied to and allow you to save up for it. Alternatively, if you are saving for a large purchase, you can use the My Goals page. This has been added to our to-do list.

Sinking funds
I use YNAB for my offline budgeting. When I set each category it will carry over if I don't spend it thereby letting me create a fund for upcoming expenses (taxes etc.). I notice in budget tracker (I am a new user) that the amount will not increase but will decrease with usage but starts over the next month so there is no way to save money for upcoming expenses except in my head. Am I missing something. I like Budget Tracker but will always keep my offline YNAB in case I can not get on line.
