Re:One time income and monthly income
It looks like your setup is correct, please try it now. This should now reflect your total Income Carryovers - Total Bill Carryovers.

Re:One time income and monthly income
First on want to thank you for your attention to the income carry over. However, I still am not able to see the income carry over.
I have gone to my income and tried to review each income statement and they do not allow my use of a carry over. My budget does let this happen.
The calender does not reflect any income carry overs.
If I am doing something wrong please help me?

Re:One time income and monthly income
We apologize for the delay. You should now see the carryover amount on the My Calendar page. Please note that this will only bring over carry over amounts from your Bills and Income, not Budget items that are not tied to a bill or income since the summary only covers your Bills and Income. The way it works is it will take your Carry Over Income - Carry Over Bills and show the summary at the beginning of the month if you've set the category to be carried over.

Re:One time income and monthly income
To further clarify the carry over problem with calendar. within each the calender shows any income for that month and reductions as bills come due. However, funds that are not expended in any month are not carried over to the next month. This presents a false picture of funds available especially if new income of the next month does not occur at the beginning of the month.

Re:One time income and monthly income
Thanks for the update. However, these income carry overs are not reflected on my calendar. My calendar shows my regular income but fails to show my one time income or carry over a balance of unspent funds from one month to the next.
Maybe it would be useful if you explained the purpose and use of the calendar. As I have mentioned before, there is a great need for a manual. Otherwise, we are left to assumptions of what various features are supposed to do. Many terms and features are not self explanatory.

Re:One time income and monthly income
You now have the ability to carry over your Bills and Income items on the My Budget page. When creating a budget from the My Budget and choosing the Income type, this is mainly for money coming that has no set date such as Tips. For items such as Paychecks where the dates are defined, user can use the My Income page.

Re:One time income and monthly income
Then it would seem that the problem exists on the sub-screen of the budget where one enters income. My repeating income is marked as income, but my variable income (which was entered as custom) is marked as 'C' carry over. This is event though the form asked if the source was income. It seems that the choice of 'carry over' trumped the choice of 'income'.

Re:One time income and monthly income
Thank you for the feedback. Currently only the budget items not tied to a Bill or Income will work with carry overs. We have added to our todo list the ability to handle the others in the next release.

Re:One time income and monthly income
UPDATE: I now have the income carrying over in the budget but not in the calendar. I had to use the monthly category and "custom" which permits entering different amounts on variable months.
However, this is not reflect on the Calendar. It would greatly help to be able to see the carry over of more than one source of income in the calendar.
