Re:Retroactive income category
Thank you. Your Transactions should have defaulted the category to your Budget Category that was selected in your Income. We'll investigate why this didn't happen for your Transactions.

Re:Retroactive income category
Okay, I see what may be happening.

When I view the income items, they all show that they are tied to the budget. But when I view the transactions with each income, they are NOT tied to the budget.

I would think that if I tied an income to the budget, it should tie all the transactions based on that income to the budget. Unfortunately, that does not appear to have happened.

Re:Retroactive income category
Okay, but I do have one time income items that occurred in September, and September's budget shows "Starts in Nov, 2009" for that category.

I also have a weekly income item that started in August, but it's only appearing in the view for November.

The system is aware of those budgeted incomes, as when I view the budget Year-to-Date, the budget amount is correct, but it's showing that I only deposited 2.69% of what I actually earned in that category.

Re:Retroactive income category
If you go to the My Income page, then select Income List, the majority of your Income Items are set as One Time so they will only show up for that given month. If you change it to Monthly, you should see the category that is related to that item start to show up in your Budget for future months. In Octobers case, there are no One Time items set in October which is why they do not appear.

Re:Retroactive income category
But I do have all my income items assigned to budget categories. When I recreated the category, I went through all my incomes and tied them to the new budget category. However, none of those incomes are showing in my budget.

Re:Retroactive income category
This is because under your Income, you do not have any Income items set for October for that category. At the top of the My Budget page, if you click the Related To dropdown, and choose "Show All Spent", this will ignore 0 budget amounts so that you can see your spent/deposited amounts for all months.

Retroactive income category
I inadvertently deleted an income sub-category from my budget. I recreated the category and added the previous income items to it.

Now when I look at past months' budgets, that category does not show the income I earned. Instead it shows "Starts in Nov, 2009."

How can I have it show the income from previous months?
