Re:Budget Item - Negative Percentage
No problem. The reason is because your bill is starting on the 19th of October so it's only calculating one payment for this month. If you click the month arrow to switch to November, you should see your budget as 80

Re:Budget Item - Negative Percentage
So sorry to bother you again, when I checked it before I was happy to see positive numbers that I didn't even confirm the total number. It is saying that the budget amount is $40, this is a fortnightly paying sum, so I believe it should have the budget amount as $80 (or so) for the month, unless I am mistaken?

Re:Budget Item - Negative Percentage
I made this change but it doesn't appear to have fixed the issue. Do I need to remove and recreate the item to make the changes apply?
Thanks for your prompt response!
Kind Regards,
Renee

Re:Budget Item - Negative Percentage
It looks like you've setup this category as a withdrawal category since it is tied to your bills but since it's a loan payoff, you'll want to set this up as a deposit category instead. To do this, click on Categories from the left menu, and click your category that is having issues. Then change the type to Deposit/Income instead. We'll be making this easier from the My Budget page in a future release.

Budget Item - Negative Percentage
I have an item I have on layby listed as a 'loan'. It shows up in my budget, and I have a payment system set up in the 'loan' to pay $40 a fortnight off it. Based on this I would assume that the Budget Amount wound be listed as ~$80 a month, however instead it is listing the budget amount as $40 and with a payment instead of going to a positive percentage of that paid it's going to -100%
