Is there anywhere I can find an overall guide to using BudgetTracker, like a user guide? I see bits of help in Videos, in Message Board, in Knowledge base, etc., but because many of the features of the program are not obvuious, I feel like I have to do a lot of digging to find information that should be within a SINGLE searchable location.

When you create categories and sub-categories from the "Categories" page, it doesn't automatically add them to your budget since we need more information before they appear. To add them to your budget, first click on the "Categories" link from the left menu, then from each category you would like to appear in your budget, click on the "add to budget" link. If you created these from the My Budget page, please let us know so we can investigate why it didn't get added.

add sub-catagory to budget??
I have added several custom categories, and hence numerous sub-categories under those custom categories. When I try to add these to my budget, I only see ~ 30% of my sub-categories. Why can't I see the rest?
