If you click on the sub-category name in My Budget to edit the item, you should see an "override amounts" link next the budget amount. This will allow you to change the amount for a given month for as long as wish.

How can you change your Monthly Budget items without it affecting previous months. Every month my budget is going to have to change according to how much money I make.
