Thank you for the idea. We'll take this into consideration. For now, we've updated the Tasks page to have the New Task box opened on page load to be consistent with the rest of the site.

"New Task"
In Tasks, it would be nice to have a "New Task" button at the top of the list, in addition to the bottom of the list.
