Thank you for bringing this up. This is actually a mistype on the message boards. It will give you an average of all odometer readings and not just 2 of them. Please let us know if you see any issues.

I'm not sure that average miles between fill-ups is the most useful statistic, particularly since the Amount Paid and Gallons columns are totaled.
When I first saw this feature, I assumed it would be calculating my miles per gallon. I suppose I can calculate it from the data recorded here, but it would be nice if BT did it for me. :)

We've completed adding an odometer feature to the Gas Mileage page. At the bottom, your total average will be an average of the total miles driven between two odometer readings. If your odometer reads 0, this wont get calculated into the average.

Thank you for the idea. We've added this to our to-do list. At the bottom of the odometer reading, would you want the average miles driven between fill-ups?

I would like to see some added functionality to the gas mileage section. Specifically, an area to enter the miles off the odometer when filling up.
I am looking at leasing/financing and think this would help to determine the best option; avg miles per month/year, miles per gallon
