I just have a tax expense category I dont link it to tax because I dont like how it is laid out so I just made my own tax expense category. So is there a way to just filter out certain categories and get the expense total that way?

From the My Transactions page, click the Go To... dropdown and choose Transaction Summary. At the top you'll see a tab titled "2008 Taxes". This will then give you a breakdown for each budget category showing how much you've spent for the year.

Is there some way you can pick certain categories like we keep track of tools purchased throughout the year so that at the end of the year we have a total for our taxes. Is there somewhere where you can pull just total spent on one particular category?
