The issue we found with this, is that your Total Current Balance reflects account balances that both have and do not have transactions for the current month so hiding an account may be confusing when looking at the Total Current Balance. What we've done though, is we will now check if any transactions are under an account. If none are found, we will automatically minimize the account section so you only see the name of the account and the balance on a single bar line.

Hide accounts having no transactions under current filer
It would enhance the ergonomics imo if transaction list would not show accounts that have no transactions under the filer chosen. Currently you have to scroll them down instead.
