Still the same bug: Accounts -> Balance Account -> Update Opening Balance ignores the option chosen and creates a new transaction anyway. If run from My Accounts page. If run from My Transactions page, updates the opening balance properly.

Re:Change Opening Balance
We've added an update that will now check if the first transaction is tied to your opening balance. If not, a new transaction will get created a day before your first transaction with the amount you've entered. If you update your account now, you should see your balance increase by the amount you enter.

Re:Change Opening Balance
Thanks for the clarification. But still a bug for me: clicking Accounts -> Cash opens the Update Account page. Field Opening Balance is populated by amount of the latest transaction.

Re:Change Opening Balance
When an account gets updated, if it does not yet have an opening balance, we create a new transaction as the opening balance and tie it to that account. It looks like what may have happend is the transaction you have tied to your Cash account was updated with a new date and name. To resolve this, find the transaction with the same amount as your opening balance and delete it, then recreate it as a new transaction. Your opening balance for cash should then be 0 which you can update to a new amount. We will look into making this more intelligent in a future release.

Re:Change Opening Balance
Still the same question please. Found that I have more cash than entered initially (I have a number of transaction after that). Clicking on any other account (e.g. saving, checking) opens a window with field populated by opening balance exactly as you said. But for Cash this field populated by last transaction (e.g. -70 instead of +110). Changing this amount updates last transaction accordingly. Why does it happen?

Re:Change Opening Balance
Go into My Accounts, and click the edit pencil icon next to the account that was created. In here, you should see an opening balance field pre-populated with the amount that was entered when the account was created.

Change Opening Balance
I've just started using this program, and need to change the opening balance of the accounts I set up. I can't find any way to edit these amounts. I thought of deleting the accounts and re-entering them, but that would delete the transactions I already entered.
