Thanks for the feedback. We agree that "Other" didn't give enough explanation of the Applications beneath it so we've renamed this to "Financial". We've also updated the text "Custom Applications" to "Beta Applications". We've opened back up the ability for users to create their own applications but will only make public applications which we find useful. We'll also look into making it easy and quick to post ideas of applications to the Message Board for users who would like us to create the applications for them.

Re:Custom Applications
Thanks -- Sounds good! I like the idea of the "Custom Applications" area being a beta testing area, with apps "graduating" to other categories on the nav menu as they mature. Maybe "Beta Applications" or something like that would be appropriate. With that in mind, the current organization is fine. You might consider tweaking "Other," since all of the apps in that category seem to be money/asset/financial related, rather than anything that doesn't fit anywhere else.

Re:Custom Applications
Thank you for the feedback. Yes, we removed the ability for users to create an application since we were seeing users were having trouble understanding the creation process so it seems to be easier if we just allow users to describe what they want and we'll created it for them until we come up with an easier version for people to use. Moving the Time Sheet application to My Business makes sense. We also like the idea of adding the Custom Applications creation to the Message Board. As far as renaming Custom Applications, we'll give this some thought and are open to more suggestions on what this should be called. We'd like to use this area as a Beta Testing process and we see one application moves up on the list like project planner did, we can consider graduating these applications to our main navigation menu.

Custom Applications
Is the ability for a user to create a custom application still functioning? Or am I just having trouble figuring out how to get into it again? I see the box where we can ask you to create an application for us. That makes sense to me and should prevent the potential chaos of lots of users creating lots of custom apps. (For example, there is a "My Notes" custom application in addition to the BT "My Notes" function under My Organizer.) I see that some of the custom applications have actually made their way onto the "main" menu, such as Project Planner under My Business. Just a suggestion: If users are no longer creating custom applications, you might re-jigger the nav menu just a bit. Rename Custom Applications to Specialized Applications, and put in there not only a lot of the current custom apps that are there now, but things like New Years Resolutions, My Recipes, and Work Out, and also keep there the page for requesting a new app (or move that to the Message Board). (You might also consider moving "Time Sheet" from My Organizer to My Business.)
