When you enter a transaction, the category you choose is directly tied to your budget. You may not need to track your cash in your Budget but it's flexable enough to let you decide. For random cash purchases you may want to create an Entertainment or Miscellaneous category. It all depends on what items you want to keep track of in your Budget. On the My Bills page, you can have your Bills automatically tied to your budget so when you go to record that Bill whether you pay by Cash, ATM, Check, Direct Debit, or Credit Card, you just need to select the category for that Bill and it will get recorded in your budget.

CASH ITEMS/CONFUSED
When I pay cash for something how do I put that in my budget? I'm still not understanding how to keep track of my daily spending? When I enter checks into transactions how do I put them in my budget - I do write checks for bills and I need to put them in my budget?? When I use ATM debit card to pay for items, where do I put that? Everything started out pretty easy, now I'm just confused. Please help.
