Re:Account has become soooooo slooooooow
While we allow you to show up to 500 transactions per page, this may take a some time to render. If you change this to 25 or 50 transactions per page while you are entering transactions this will help speed it up for you. We are looking into optimizing this for faster performance.

Re:Account has become soooooo slooooooow
I see the new limits on free accounts - that's cool, I understand you guys have to make some $$. I hope you can put some of that into speeding this up soon, because it's become nearly useless to me at this point. Even with just 50 transactions, I have to wait upwards of 30 seconds for every transactions page refresh. It's literally in the "go and do something else for a while" category. It's frustrating, and although the features can't be matched elsewhere yet, someday they will be. If the speed can't be improved, I fear BudgetTracker won't be long for the world...

Re:Account has become soooooo slooooooow
I'm trying the software out and don't have any transactions and noticed it's slow so if it's slow now, it's going to be slower. I like BudgetTracker. I really do but if I'm going to manually enter everything by hand, I need a fast app to do it with so will probably have to pass on using this after seeing this.

Re:Account has become soooooo slooooooow
I use Chrome and I always filter for a single account. I reduced it to 50, and it didn't really seem to speed it up much. I am guessing it's just the query speed with so much data. Any way to speed this bad boy up?

Re:Account has become soooooo slooooooow
Thank you for the feedback. We noticed you have the number of transactions to show per page at 500. Try setting it at viewing 50 transactions per page and see if that helps. Also if you are using Internet Explorer, you can try using Chrome or Firefox which may have a faster rendering engine for viewing your transactions. Also make sure you filter on individual accounts to reduce the amount of data to show. Please let us know if any of these options help.

Account has become soooooo slooooooow
I have been using this tool for a while now, and have a lot of transactions in my checking account. I am guessing this is why every page refresh in Transactions now takes 45-60+ seconds. It's mind numbingly slow, and impossible to get any kind of research or information out of the system in a reasonable time frame. Is there any way to archive or somehow speed this up without losing all my data?
