Thank you, it looks like the issue was with entering 0 not getting recognized. It should now work for you when entering 0 as well.

Re:Credit Card Bills, Stock Units, and Cashflow Projections
Thank you for the quick response!

However, it still doesn't work. I don't put in any currency symbols, just the number.

1. I click on the amount.
2. I enter just a zero "0". I also tried "0.00", and "$0.00".
3. Press enter.
4. The page reloads.
5. The page re-appears, but the textbox is gone and the running balance does not change.

This is on the Chrome browser.

I'm sure the developers are making changes to the code and testing it, so it must be working for them. So, I wonder why it's not working for me.

Were you adding the currency as well? We fixed an issue that should ignore the currency if you add it in so please let us know if it still doesn't work.

Re:Credit Card Bills, Stock Units, and Cashflow Projections
Wow! I didn't expect the changes to be done so quickly! Thank you so much!

Um.. I tried it, and it doesn't seem to work. When I click on the amount in the forecast, the textbox appears beside the amount clicked. I enter a number (for example, zero "0") to "remove" it from the forecast, press enter, the page reloads, but the running balance did not change.

I thought it might be my browser, so I tried it on Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, the running balance wouldn't change. I tried using different amounts, but no changes.

Something I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

This has now been implemented. Just click on the amount of one of your projected forecast items, enter the new amount and hit enter. This will update your forecast with a new running balance based on the amount you enter.

Re:Credit Card Bills, Stock Units, and Cashflow Projections
I figured that out already in the Transaction Forecast tab. Thanks!

However, what is important is to be able to adjust the amounts in the Transaction Forecast tab, so that we can create a "what if" scenario.

For example, what if there are 10 bills to be paid totaling to $1,000, but I only have $700 in funds. I want to be able to choose how I will distribute the $700 across the 10 bills so that I don't get a negative number in the forecast. If the transaction is entered, then the system will mark this as partial payment and will carry the balance over to the next month (or so), but it will also indicate that the bill has been paid.

As you know, credit cards allow us to pay partially so as long as it meets the minimum payment required. :)

One other thing I remembered. Some banks offer multiple credit cards, but they share the same credit line. The system, I believe, assumes that each credit card has it's own dedicate credit line. Another feature for the future?

Thanks!

So in addition to being able to select the month at the top, you'd like the ability to select an end date which could be today or another day you choose, then have that balance stand out? You currently can achieve today by selecting the current month and looking at what your running balance is but we can make this more noticable if that would help.

Re:Credit Card Bills, Stock Units, and Cashflow Projections
Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to make the Transaction Forecast work the way I want it to work for me.

All I want, and maybe the rest of the other folks want as well, is to be able to see, in a table format, what are total current available funds (cash, savings, checking, etc.) across all income accounts, and what are the upcoming bills to be paid until a certain date. If there is projected income that will come in within that date range, then it should be included in the table. Of course, we should still be allowed to filter entries in the table.

With this table displayed, we can make adjustments to the amounts that will be paid into the various bills, which will adjust the forecast. This allows us to "budget" the current funds we have so that we don't run out of funds, or have the forecast go into the red.

Either tweak the "Transaction Forecast" to support this, or have a totally new tab titled "Cash Flow Projection".

I do hope you will consider this feature. Thanks!

Re:Credit Card Bills, Stock Units, and Cashflow Projections
For the 3rd item, yes. Having a "what if" scenario would be great! I like putting-in the full amount due into the bill entry, but when everything has been entered, sometimes I'll realize that I wouldn't have enough cash to settle them all fully. I would then would like to be able to play around with the amounts I am willing to pay for each of the bills. Then the forecast would tell me how much I will have left in my funds.

Another column with empty textboxes would be sufficient. As the user enters an amount there, the system would use that as the amount that will be paid, and adjust the forecast accordingly.
