spliting income
I'm still trying to figure out the way this is set up to function. I made an "income" category for all of our income because I didn't know how else it was supposed to be categorized, and I figured that way I can disperse it to the other categories at my discretion. with most of my deposits I want to put part of it in another category right away, so I tried using the split transaction to categori

Transactions not posting in the new month?
I can't get anything to post in any category for the month of March. I started using this system in February and everything went great. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to close out the month or something?

Totally freaking out! All transactions missing.
I opened budget tracker today to import some transactions and after I agreed to the import it took me to the transactions page as usual. However, all of my previous transactions are gone. I haven't logged in for a few days so I have no idea when this happened or how but I need my transactions back.

Please look into this as soon as possible.

Cannot download data for Yodlee
i have been using Yodlee to update data, but recently, i have not been able to bring that data into budget tracker. I can download it to my computer. I can use the import Yodlee data option, but the data never appears in the program.

Please help?

love calendar carryover feature, but
The calender carryover feature does not accurately carry the balance from the previous month. In my case the balance from August was reduce by 38% at the beginning of the next September with no intervening activity. For example, the balance in August was $4000 (not real data) and at the start of September the carryover amount was reduce by 38% to $1,520.

I hope you can fix this problem as

Report and Chart Help!!!!!
One of my user keeps getting this message "invalid XML data" when they try to budget vs. spent chart. Any assistance would be great.

Bills: Monthly Forecast vs. Paid Amounts - General Questions
I'm not really sure the difference between these 2 sections. I see the same transactions on both. How are they different or what is the intended use of both? I see the Record/Cancel bill on both, and I'm assuming they both work the same way.

Also, I assumed that if I go to Upcoming Bills, I could change a single occurrence of a bill. I CAN do that, but 2 things happen. First, an O icon

"Update Principle"
I have a couple of bills that ask me to "update principle" after I've paid it. I've entered the interest rate in the bill when I originally input it in the system. How do I get these bills to stop asking for this after being paid?

How is reconciling done?
If I enter a manual transaction, or say that I have a bill that auto-records the transaction for a date, when the account is synced with my bank, is it reconciled automatically? If so, based on what data? Amount, date, description?
