newbie here, a few questions
I'm just getting my feet wet still, but stoked so far at how everything seems to be working. I am hoping to make it easier to see our business and personal finances all in the same place while still keeping them separate, and online is great so that my spouse can access it at any time as well.

I'm finding it's not as user friendly as I would like, but I'm working on figuring stuff out and a

payees
i didn't realise when i started that it was going to track all the payees i've put in. so i have a huge list of payees, some are doubles just because i'm too lazy to use caps but my husband did.
so today i went in to streamline them and clean it up but it warned me it would delete all the transactions associated with that name!

i'd actually like to not add/list a payee, if we're buying

balancing my account
today it's way off from what's in the bank, so i tried to balance it as of this moment right now, however it puts the correct balance at the beginning of today and then subtracts all the transactions i put in earlier and the budgettracker amount is waaaay off now.
i have no unrecorded transactions with my bank and no uncleared checks.
if i'm entering the balance of my bank account right now

Linking of Bills-Accounts and Budget
I currently have my bills set up and tied to my budget. I have several bills(small credit cards) that are tied to a budget name of "store credit cards," so four bills under one budget category. When I go to bills to mark those small credit cards as paid, in my budget they show up as I would expect. However, when I go to my transacctions to show my checking account(one account) got debited the

sorry, I just have to rave some more
I can't help it. I am just continuing to explore the site and my mouth is hanging open I am so amazed at all the details you guys have taken into account!!! It is seriously rare, if it's even ever happened, that I have run into something that is so feature rich! I'm jumping up and down happy inside! The latest thing to make me happy is perusing the calendar and noticing that there is a little roll

"budget amount" and "total available"
this is only our second month so, again, i'm not sure if i set something up incorrectly.
I thought that carrying over the amounts remaining in an 'envelope' would only show in the "total available" column, but it seems to be adding it to the "budget amount" as well. so on the first of march before we listed any transactions those 2 columns were the same.
i want the "budget amount" c

bill is adding rather than subtracting
i have my mortgage payment set up as a bill, it's a 'withdrawl' in the little drop down but today when it recorded the transaction, it shows the amount in the spent/deposited column but in the remaining column it has added it rather than subtracted it.
i can't seem to figure this one out. i do have a newborn and a 2 year old so my brain isn't working so well right now either :)

In my transactions the check # is not showing in the check # field although it is recorded in the actual transaction.
