We've updated the My Bills page to allow you to accelerate your Bills by any given amount to help pay off the debt early. To access, turn on the accelerator on the My Bills page, then update the Bill you would like to accelerate. Once an accelerate amount is applied, clicking record will pre-populate the New Transaction with the Bill amount plus the accelerated amount.
The recurrence drop down boxes when creating or updating a Bill, will now be more intuitive by keeping the Bi-Weekly selection for example selected or when 6 months is selected, it will automatically switch to Semi-Annual.
We've added a new Theme to the list titled "Simple". This gives you a plain view without the sidebars, larger fonts and a white background. To access, click "Settings" from the upper right corner of the page.
We've updated the My Bills page to increase the page load time. The New Bill section will now be loaded after the page has rendered to speed up viewing your existing Bills.
We've added the ability to change the way your entry dates and view dates get displayed. You can now use either MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY. To change your settings, click the "Settings" link in the upper right corner. If you have any other dates you would like to see or have suggestions, please feel free to let us know or comment on this post.
When creating a new Bill, you can now select an existing category in your Budget to tie the Bill to. To do so, click on the Category menu and scroll to the bottom. You will then see an "Existing Categories..." selection which will create a new selection box of your existing categories. This will allow you to tie multiple Bills to a single Budget.
We've created an I Owe You page to track who owes you money and who you owe money. Once entered, if the email address is a current BudgetTracker user, they will receive a notification in the upper left corner to allow them to add that I Owe You to their page. Once paid by them or by you, the Transaction will show up in your registry under Pending Transactions.
A new menu has been added to the Navigation Bar called "Quick Links". This will allow you easily add pages you frequently visit to the Left Navigation. Additionally, you can customize this section with your own personal links by clicking on the "Customize..." link.
