We've added a BudgetTracker Store to the site which utilizes Amazon's products. We've created some Financial sections for you to browse. Along with this, we're providing a way to see how much you'll have available for Shopping by visiting the Financial Summary page under the Finance section in the Navigation Toolbar. You can then adjust the percentage of available Income you'll have left over at the end of the following month to put towards Shopping or Savings.
We've created a Finance Summary page to give you a high level view of all your current finances. This will show how much will be left at the end of the current month as well as the month after once all Bills and Income have been paid. You can then adjust how much of your Budget you think you'll end up spending. Once complete, we'll give you an estimate of how much money you have available for Shopping. To access, click on Finance Summary from the Finance section in the Navigation Toolbar.
We've added a new section to the Settings page that allows you to now choose a Theme. This will give you a new look and feel of the site. For starting, we've implemented a new theme called "Emerald". This has more glass effects and rounded modules. To try it out, click on "Settings" from the top right corner and scroll down to the Themes section. We plan on implementing several more themes, so if you have an idea in mind or an example, please feel free to let us know.
We've added an Account Forecast link to the My Bills page. This will allow you to view your projected account balance at the end of the month for each account so you'll know if a Bill needs to get paid before it's due date. You have the option to view your list by Bills only or Transactions and Bills Due.
We've integrated a new currency symbol, real(R$). If you use a currency symbol that you do not see on the settings page and would like it added, please email us at service@budgettracker.com
We've added a 14 day forecast of your upcoming Bills on your mobile phone. This will give you a list of all Bills that have not yet been paid. Once paid, it will be removed from the list to let you know which Bills still need to get paid. Click here to view BudgetTracker Mobile on your phone or navigate to http://mobile.budgettracker.com.
The My Income page will now support twice a month entries for users who get paid on the 1rst and 15th for example. This change will essentially create two monthly income items for you and tie them to the same budget category to avoid having to create the same Income item twice. To update existing Income items, update one of your items (15th for example) and select the same subcategory of the Income Item on the 1rst.
We've added the ability to save notes when opening the Quick Entries side bar. Once saved, you can view your notes by going to My Notes under the Organization menu. To install Quick Entries, click Quick Entries under the Finance or Organization menus.
We've given the Import Transactions feature a new look and feel to make it easier to bring in your bank statements. You will now be able to select a category for each transaction before it gets entered into the system. You also have the ability to view your spreadsheet and select the column now from the budgettracker site instead of having to modify your spreadsheet first. Among these changes, we are now offering a free version the the import feature for users to try it out. You will be able to import up to 6 transactions at a time per spreadsheet before purchasing a subscription for unlimited data rows.
We've added a check registry feature to allow you to now keep track of the check numbers for your Transactions. When selecting a checking account from the Transaction Toolbar, a new field will appear with the next check number in your registry pre-populated. This will default to the last check number in your account registry plus one.
