It looks like the Transactions that are not being imported are missing a Payee name. This is why you only see the name Check which is the payment type or category. We've updated the confirm page now show Untitled as the Payee name if one doesn't exist. You can then modify the name to what it should be before importing your transactions.

Re:Dates not importing correctly
I got your email and tried again to import using the QIF file. It almost worked! I only imported 30 days at a time. Now the only issue is it didn't download any of my transactions that said "Check" in the description from the bank. Our bank has a hyperlink in the description that links to a view of the check. I'm guessing that may be the issue. It works fine when I import it into Microsoft Money so there should be a fix.

Re:Dates not importing correctly
Did you get my email? I sent the QIF file as well as the CSV data I was trying to import. Let me know if you need the full CSV file. I'm looking forward to using the software!

Re:Dates not importing correctly
We've uploaded some changes to the CSV import. If you are still seeing errors in the date, please send us an attachment of the data your trying to import to service@budgettracker.com and we'll look into where the problem is.

Dates not importing correctly
Please help me. I absolutely love what BudgetTracker seems to be able to do and the simplicity of the site. The only issue I have is trying to import my transactions from 1/1/08. In the CSV format everything looks good in the initial import screen. Then when I hit Import all dates that are greater than the 9th day of the month change to 2009 or 2010 and an incorrect day. I've tried everything I can think of including changing the formatting of the dates in Excel, only importing 99 at a time, QIF format, etc. Please help before I give up on Budget Tracker. Thanks...
