The Home Inventory application can be found by switching to Advanced Navigation from the dropdown and then look under the Financial Navigation. We'll look into adding this to the Simple Navigation as well.

Well, I had no intention of hitting "Delete," and so of course don't recall any confirmation box. I'm assuming that I must have done something, scrolled, switched over to another running program, hit another of the top tabs, or something, while the page was reloading after I saved my change, and clicked when I shouldn't have clicked. Too aggressive with the mouse, probably, in an environment with too many open windows.

Thank you for your patience. Yes, you should have received a confirmation box when deleting a category. If you don't remember getting a confirmation box, please let us know and we'll run some tests to make sure it always pops up. We've updated the way tasks are deleted now so that they wont actually get removed from the database for 30 days in case a recovery of data is needed. This is also how the Transactions currently work.

Ouch. So somehow I must have hit "Delete." Isn't there some kind of a confirmation box that pops up asking if I really want to delete the category?
Don't bother trying to recover the list -- I can reconstruct it fairly easily.

We apologize for the inconvenience. We've verified the only way a category can be deleted is by clicking the "delete" link from the top of the page when you're in that category. We are showing a record of this action in our log files so we'll look into recovering your data but this may take up to a week.

Tasks -- Lost Entire Category
Help! In Tasks, I lost my entire "Home" category. I was viewing the list of tasks for that category, opened one task up to change the category for that task, and when I was done with that, the entire "Home" category was gone.
