Re:Transfer Funds
This is how it currently works. If this is not what you're seeing, please let us know. When you record a bill payment from the My Bills page, a transaction is created. All transactions are tied to an account. If you didn't select an account, the default is saved to a "Cash" account which you should see on the My Transactions page. Next to each transaction on the My Transactions page, if you see a red "B" icon to the left of it, this means it is tied to a paid Bill. Therefore in your Budget, when viewing the spent amount, this is populated from Transactions that are part of an Account. If the Transaction has a category selected, it becomes a part of your Budget. A Recurring Transfer will do the same procedure as a Bill but will also record a deposit transaction in addition to your withdrawal. If you've created a Credit Card or Loan Account, the transfer will allow you to record your deposits into the Credit Card account. Otherwise, you can just record your payments as withdrawals from your checking account similar to paying a Utility Bill.

Re:Transfer Funds
Instead of emailing; I think it is best to provide feedback here. With that being said; as of now my budget works correctly, but that is only because my bill for those accounts are not tied to the my accounts tab. Since it is just a bill, transferring funds does not apply here, or at least in my case where it is a transaction not a transfer. What I would like is to tie-in the my acounts tab so that when I pay the bill it deducts from the corresponding account.

Re:Transfer Funds
Thank you for the feedback. We've looked into April Transactions and they appear to be working correctly from what we can tell. Please email us the budget category name you're not seeing show up so we can investigate this further. Our email is service@budgettracker.com

For smsantaella's post, please make sure All Accounts are selected from the My Transactions page and then try it. You should see the amount of transactions match up with the amount you clicked. If not, please email as well the budget category name you're clicking on.

Re:Transfer Funds
sorry, I didnt specify the 'nice little feature' I was talking about was clicking on the budget to see where all the transactions came from for the total in that category. Not the transfer funds feature.

Re:Transfer Funds
I saw this post and thought that was a nice little feature that I didn't know about.. . But.. I had the same problem with it not working.. if I only had one transaction for that item it would show up fine.. but if there was more than one transaction for that item either just the last one or none would show up.. and I have tried multiple items and refreshing the page.
Thanks!

Re:Transfer Funds
I clicked on the spent/deposited section in my budget for one of my credit card accounts, but no transaction is showing. I made sure that I had all accounts showing.

Re:Transfer Funds
From the My Budget page, click on the amount spent link for the budgeted item your seeing as 100%. This will show you all the transactions recorded for that category. You should then be able to see which account they are tied to and allow you to update to the appropriate account. If this was recorded from the My Bills page, you'll want to update that Bill and make sure your loan account is attached to the Bill you're recording. Please let us know if this doesn't work.

Transfer Funds
I am having trouble setting up transfer funds. I want to pay my bill, say a loan, have it deduct from my money account, apply to my loan account, and show up in the spent/deposit column as a charge. So if I budget that amount for that category it will show as 100% in the bugdet.

As it stands right now I am not transferring funds and paying the bill. It shows how I want in the budget; however it does not affect my loan in 'my accounts'.

Help!
