If you click on Settings from the upper right corner, you'll see a section for Payee Dropdown entry. This allows you to pull your Payees from either your Contacts or your Transactions. If you change this to Transactions, you should see it the way it was for you.

New Transaction page changed
When I used to enter a transaction, the page showed "Payee" or there was a blank to where my payees would drop down from. Now, NONE of my payees drop down and I am prompted to add a payee, which leads to contacts, etc........
