No the Bill recurrence doesn't end automatically but you can specify an end date if you choose. To see a full list of payments made on the Bill, to the far right on the Monthly Forecast section you should see a number that is linked. If you click on this, you should see the full history of that bill showing you which ones have been paid or not.

If not, is there a better way to record this bill and keep track of the payments made against it?
