The total balance will just give you a total of all transactions being viewed whereas the current balance adds in your previous transactions. If you are sorting by date, you'll see a running balance instead which matches up with your current balance. If you are sorting by amount though, you only see a total balance since a running balance would not be accurate when sorting by name or amount.

What is the difference between the current balance and the total balance?
How do they change when you round up? Is one of them the balance before the rounding?
