When you balance your account, it will take into effect all transactions for everything up until the end of that day so the order in which the balance account transaction appears for that day should have no effect on your ending balance. A quick way to make sure you got all the unreconciled transactions is to click the link "All Unreconciled" in the filter bar at the top. Then make sure you've clicked all the orange icons. You can then delete your existing "Balance Account" transaction and try clicking on the "Balance Account" link for that account. Your ending balance should then show what you've entered in the balance account popup. We will be adding in a new feature that give you the option to clear all unreconciled accounts automatically when balancing your account so your ending balance is what is currently in your bank.

balancing my account
today it's way off from what's in the bank, so i tried to balance it as of this moment right now, however it puts the correct balance at the beginning of today and then subtracts all the transactions i put in earlier and the budgettracker amount is waaaay off now. i have no unrecorded transactions with my bank and no uncleared checks. if i'm entering the balance of my bank account right now it should put it in the transactions list in the last spot.
