I've been using this site for years. Before then I used Quicken and Money for many more years. But, I wanted access from any computer and didn't want to mess with backups anymore. In the Web 2.0 arena I have tried all of the big names like mint.com(didn't support my credit union and wouldn't allow manual entries), mvelopes(Not my thing), Buxfer(Not bad actually and autosyncs my credit union which is amazing), Quicken.com (Online sucky free version) and several others but have always stayed with Budgettracker.
Yes, sometimes there are bugs, but I'll tell you that sometimes the other big names have bugs too. Quicken.com bugs were really annoying as it would take weeks or months to hear back from someone in India whenever I had a question. And they never fixed my problem anyways.
The most important thing is the quick response when I do find a bug here. Usually it's fixed within a few hours of me reporting it.
If you can't handle an occasional bug do us all a favor and get some old fashioned ledgers and pencils instead, box up your computer and send it back:-)

Re:Not ready for prime time
This is impressive software. For the first time my wife and I can look at our expenses on our own computers and reconcile expenses. We had Quicken, but backups were a pain and BT has nearly the same features.

Re:Not ready for prime time
The Coming in Next Release is what we plan on releasing but issues can come up to delay the process. In the case of the Calendar there were performance issues which prevented it from being released in July. We'll try to get it in the August release but its not a guarantee. In the meantime you can turn off summary at the top of Calendar page and use the My Budget page to view your carry over balances.

Re:Not ready for prime time
I am still waiting for the promised ability to show carry over funds in the calender. If you go to the home page you will see that it was promised for the July revision/update. I have yet to see it.
In addition, there are many features that are not adequately described or explained.

Re:Not ready for prime time
I have also been using BT for about 6 weeks, and I find that almost all of the issues I have with the system are based on my errors inputting information or time delays between incurring expenses, recording them in BT, and them being reflected in my accounts.
Personally, I am thrilled with the speed and quality of responses to bugs and feature requests.

Not ready for prime time
I have been a user for about six weeks and have not been confident in the numbers produced by this program. I have asked for help and made suggestions with much success. I do not believe this program is ready for mass use and absolutely should not be offered for sale. Too many bugs and too many work arounds.
