Re:Budget - Showing Principal Only
It looks like on the deposit side of your loan transfer, the interest deposited is categorized in your expense category so that's reducing the amount spent. If you remove the category from your split deposit, it should show up correctly. A quick way to determine this is to click on the amount link in the spent column and this will show all transactions under that category for the month. You can then see that the deposit transaction showing up.

Thank you for the quick response...I categorized both the principal and interest on the loan category but it still did not show the interest...I also created a separate category on budget for interest specifically and it did not show

Re:Budget - Showing Principal Only
To reflect your principal and interest in the same budget category, when you split your transaction, you should be able to choose the same category. This should then show up in your category reports as part of the expense. This may however make it difficult to track interest so you can also tag your transctions as interest. The tag feature can be turned on in the settings page or if you click "all transactions" on the My Transactions page, the search transactions page allows you to tag your transactions.

Budget - Showing Principal Only
I need a suggestion for reporting my loan payments. When update my principal on my loan payments it only shows the principal paid on my budget category. I would like my budget to reflect principal and interest paid. My only recourse right now is to not update the principal to maintain 100% on my alotted budget for the month
