You now have the ability to specify which day of the week you would like your weekly budgeting to occur on. When switching to Weekly view you will now see a weekly dropdown at the top of the page to change these settings.

As a workaround for now, select the Monthly dropdown and choose custom dates. You can then set any start and end date you want to match your budget amount. This will allow you to do a comparison of the selected date expenses against your budget amount.

That stinks ... any ideas what I could do in the mean time? I was trying to create a specific budget plan for my family based on a Friday-based reset.

The current setup is like a calendar showing Sunday - Saturday of the following week mainly because you can have multiple Budget items with different start dates. We'll look into allowing you to customize the start date you're viewing for weekly.

Weekly Budget Item Reset
Hello - I've created a weekly budget item and I'm curious if BT will reset the amount spent automatically (i.e. set the spent amount to zero) and also on what day this would occur. I set the start date of the budget item to last Friday with the expectation that it would reset 1 week later on a weekly basis (i.e. every Friday). Is that a correct assumption/valid expectation?
