Once you've finished reconciling all transactions, you should only have transaction that the bank does not know about marked as unreconciled. When you click balance account, enter the balance you see on your statement. If the result is 0 it means your account is in sync with your bank. If not 0, you can either create a new transaction automatically that will bring your account back in sync with your bank or you'll need to start going through each of your transactions to determine where the balance was off.

Please explain how the Balance Account at the bottom of the my transaction page works. What steps do we follow when we get our bank statement?
