Standard budgeting is where you setup Categories with monthly limits on how much you would like to spend in each category for the month. Envelope Budgeting ties in your Income so that your expenses not only come out of your categories but are also determined by how much Income you are bringing in. When you setup your income on the My Income page, this will automatically be carried over to the Envelope Budgeting page.
