I tried that. But for some reason the software will not let me change it. For example there are following payees Amazon.com AMAZON.COM AMZN.COM/ AMZ Amazon payments AMZN.COM/
When I try to change the latter two to Amazon.com, it does not save the changes and reverts back to their own self.
Any ideas?

Instead of deleting it, try to rename it to the same name as the other one.

Select Payee dropdown
Hello, when I go to Select Payee drop down and choose Update Payees options I am brought to the page which lists the payees. All good so far. But when I choose to delete a duplicate payee I get the following warning: "Deleting this payee will also delete all Transactions with this name. Are you sure you wish to continue?" The thing is I want the transactions to stay. I only intend to clean up the Select Payee drop down list and remove duplicates and triplicates. Is that possible?
