Are you selecting the category you chose when you created the transaction or are you leaving the category blank. We've added to our todo list removing income categories when your in the Expenses by Category and will just show up in Income by Category

Record ad hoc income through Transactions?
I want to record random ad hoc income, but don't want to set up a record on "My Income" because they are not planned.
How I do it now is, "Add a transaction" and select "Deposit" as the type. The problem with this is Reports and Graphs shows my "Deposit" transactions in the "Expenses by category" pie.
