The balance in your bank account is for all transactions since you opened the account in addition to your initial deposit. Are you are importing all transactions or only the most recent transactions from your bank. To match up with your bank you would either need to import all transactions since you opened the account, or you can balance the account by adding a transaction that will make up for past transactions that are not in our system.

i guess i just dont understand how the amounts can be different if i have only imported from the bank? It should match up. Can any one summarize the process of what i should do after importing and what is the process to pay bills to have them refect in bacnk account?

If you go to My Accounts, you should see a "balance" link. This will create a transaction for the dfifference between what you have recorded and what your actual balance is but will also take into account unreconciled transactions.

making my account balance match bank balance?
I have set up all my bills..income..ect..really want to figure out how to use this site. I have Google it and only come up with a few u tube videos that are not very helpful that just play music in back ground while someone clicks away on computer explaining nothing.I can import transactions no problem but what do I need to do to balance accounts? Is there better instructions tutorials some where that can help me understand better. I really like all the options here to use .It's would such not to figure it out.
