Thank you for the feedback. This sounds like a great idea. There are a couple ways to approach this. One issue would be if we auto color code Payees and Deposits, we'll run into an issue with which one gets priority. The other option would be to check the previous transaction and color code it the same way when entered into the system. A few other alternatives would be to add a color dropdown to the Payees page so that all payees past and future will get color coded quickly. And the last option would be to have a dropdown on the Import Transactions Confirm page that gets prefilled based on the previous transaction for that payee. Another possible feature would be to have a style dropdown on the My Transactions page or Settings page that will allow you to quickly change the color of all your transactions based on Date(Past,Present,Future), Deposit vs Withdrawals, or Custom (Payee dropdown selection). If you have other ideas to add, please let us know and we'll try to implement this in late February.

Color-coding versatility
I like the idea of color-coding certain transactions (deposits = green, ING AIP transfers = orange, work expenses = red, etc.) however it would be ideal to establish parameters so that every transaction imported would be evaluated for the above-mentioned types of transaction and then automatically color-coded the appropriate color. I hope I didn't muddle the concept by my description. I believe this would be a logical progression for the color-coding option.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your reply.
