This is now supported. When updating a budget item, you will have the option to have it added to your Bills as well.

Budget Items tie to Bills AFTER creating
I set up my entire budget, 3/4 of which is bills, and unfortunately did not tie the budget items to my Bills. I wish there was a way I could select the budget items I want to make bills and do that now instead of going through and creating new bills for everything...
