The non-cash assets account shouldn't be able to accept transfers since they are essentially not accounts. For what you are trying to do, try selecting the "other" type of account so that you can transfer funds to it.

Any additional thoughts on this? I can't transfer funds and track things like asset down payment with that non-cash assets you talked about.

OK, I got that. But I can't seem to transfer funds in or out of that account. For example in the event of a sale (or purchase).

Yes, if you go to My Accounts, at the bottom you should see Non-Cash Assets. This will allow you to add additional net worth items to add to your total net worth.

Tracking physical assets
Is there an account type that I am missing to track things like houses, cars, jewelry, etc? Also looking to tie a liability to those assets for tracking purposes.
