Re:Mobile Phone Access - use cookie to authenticate
Thanks for the feedback. We'll look into offering the ability to remove IP from the authentication on the settings page for mobile phones.

Re:Mobile Phone Access - use cookie to authenticate
Great. Thanks for the link - makes it a lot easier as now I only have to enter my password. Are there any plans to make the authentication based on something other than IP? Would be great just to open the page without entering credentials so that I can quickly add a transaction.

Re:Mobile Phone Access - use cookie to authenticate
Thank you for the feedback. The current authentication is cookied based and will last for 48 hours after your last page view on mobile phones unless your ip address changes which is probably what is happening. To solve your username problem though, you can save the following URL to your mobile favorites and replace the username with your email address: http://budgettracker.com/mobile/login.php?username=youremail

Mobile Phone Access - use cookie to authenticate
I've started using the mobile version of budgettracker on my mobile phone using opera mini. It's great that I can add transactions when I'm out and about but I find it very tedious to have to enter my email address and password everytime when I connect to the site. I understand that it is a security precaution but would it not be possible to have the site authenticate you from a cookie that is saved by the browser? (Similar to what happens with mobile gmail and facebook?).
