This issue has been resolved. This was a bug when updating a sub-category that has not yet been added to your budget.

Catagory Name Change
I hoped to simply change the name of a sub-category. Unfortunately, after editing, this sub-category was now removed from its previous main category and I've been unable to reassign it.
