OK, i will change my usage habits. I see that the U/C/R link next to each transaction cycles through those letters. I always wondered why I couldn't do that from a "Void" state. Now it makes a lot more sense. Thanks.

Re:Void transactions reset to $0.00
BudgetTracker is flexible enough to use it however you wish but the standard order is Unreconciled, Cleared, Reconciled. This is why when you first create a transaction into the system it's set to Unreconciled. You can see definitions of each of these in our help section found Here. Please let us know if this works for you.

Re:Void transactions reset to $0.00
It sounds like I have 2 options.
1. have you add the option to include void amounts in the balances
2. use the statuses under different meaning.
My practice has been to create transactions for all of my bills for the month, and give them "Void" status until I know the exact amount and schedule the bill payment with my bank's online bill pay. At that point I change it to Unreconciled. Once i confirm the payment has been received, the transaction becomes cleared. If I use "Unreconciled" instead of "Void", then use "Reconciled" when payment is scheduled, that might work around the new problem.

Yes we updated the transactions page to not included voided transaction amounts in your running balance. Do you see a need for having the amount calculated in? If so, we can add a setting that will allow you to turn this off.

Void transactions reset to $0.00
Sometime since Jan 31, 2009, any transactions with a "void" status appear as $0.00 amount in the "My Transactions" page. If I click on the transaction, the correct $ amount is shown.
