This has now been updated. We've also added in the ability to view date ranges on the Search page so that Custom Budget dates will also get filtered properly. The format for ranges is mm/dd/yy-mm/dd/yy

If you're looking at the My Budget page and are looking at the YTD or Weekly timeframe the amounts spent link takes you to This Month amount spent. Can you make sure that when you click the Amount Spent link it displays the timeframe that you were in on the My Budget page?
