Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This should now be resolved. We've also added support to add in the current year if just the month and day are passed in.

Date Problem on New Transactions
I've learned that I can't enter a partial date (such as 8/19 rather than 8/19/09) on a new transaction. The problem is that the system doesn't warn me that the date format is incorrect. It still says "Success! You have entered a new transaction." But then the transaction is nowhere to be found. This same thing happens on both the sidebar New Transaction and the My Transactions page. If I enter a date incorrectly, BT needs to tell me that, not tell me that I have a saved transaction when I really don't. Thanks!
