To view all the transactions calculated to get your total balance, from the My Transactions page select the account in question and choose Show All and then click the search icon. This will give you a breakdown of how your total balance got calculated and allow you to delete any duplicates you see.

I am having the same problem. When I added a new account, I put in my "opening balance." It showed up in the transaction summary as "previous balance" then doubled the amount I have in my account for the running balance. Now it's showing up at over $800 more than what I have.

Huh. The "Previous Balance" is, sure enough, back to zero again. This happened once before, but I thought I must have been mistaken...I guess I will have to keep an eye on it and see if it happens again, and try to figure out what it is that makes that random previous balance appear. Sorry about that.

Inaccurate Running Balance
I'm not sure if this one's something I'm doing wrong or a problem: I've had some problems with things not seeming to add up correctly in my transaction log. Yesterday I went in and cleaned up everything, added transactions I had missed, and made sure all the numbers added up. I marked all of the transactions I double checked as reconciled...perhaps this is where I went wrong? I assumed these markers were just for my information, do they have some other impact? Today, when I logged in, despite the fact that I had entered no new transactions, nor had any auto-synced, my running balance was off. The balance on my account is listed as $5,941.23, both at the top of my transaction log and in the big box at the bottom of the page. This number corresponds to the actual balance according to my bank on the last date I imported transactions. The running balance, however, shows $11,882.46. When I look at the very first page of transactions, I see an "Opening Balance" dated January 1, 2008 of $8,602.15. This corresponds to the balance of my account when I started using BudgetTracker Sept 1, 2009. However, that page also lists a previous total of $5,941.23 (equal to the actual current balance today)...why would I have a previous total before my opening balance? Am I doing something wrong?
